PSM beats Pusam in goalfest

MAKASSAR, South Sulawesi (JP): Defending league champions PSM
beat visitors Putra Samarinda (Pusam) of East Kalimantan 7-0 in
the eastern division's second qualifying round match of the Bank
Mandiri national soccer league on Wednesday.

Carlos deMello initiated the team's overwhelming effort in the
23rd minute before top national striker Kurniawan Dwi Yulianto
went on a goal spree, scoring in the 40th, 55th, 68th, 70th and
80th minutes at the Mattoangin stadium.

Yosef Lewono added to the drubbing by scoring PSM's final goal
in the game's 86th minute. (27)
