PSIM scrapes by Barito Putra 1-0

YOGYAKARTA (JP): Host PSIM edged Barito Putra Banjarmasin 1-0
in the final minutes of play in the sixth Indonesian Soccer
League (Ligina) at Mandala Krida Stadium on Thursday.

PSIM midfielder Ady Pranugraha ran with a feed from strikers
Gatot Ismawan and Agus Warsito to score the lone goal in the 89th
minute to save face for his team.

PSIM fans exploded in delight and immediately spilled over to
the field to hug their favorite players. Security officials were
deployed to restrain spectators and the match was stopped.
Overjoyed spectators later held a convoy around the city to
celebrate the victory.

Barito failed to capitalize on several chances. Ady said after
the match that his teammates were unable to score because they
felt rushed when given prime opportunities. (44)
