Prudential opens new offices

JAKARTA (JP): Insurance company PT Prudential BancBali Life
Assurance officially opened its new agency offices on Monday in
Yogyakarta and Solo.

Company president Kevin Holmgren said in a statement that the
new agency offices were established to meet the growing demand
for life insurance in those cities.

"We see a huge potential market for life insurance in
Yogyakarta and Solo," he said, adding that the opening of new
agency offices also reflected the company's commitment in
Indonesia.

According to him, the Yogyakarta agency office started
operation last September, while the Solo agency office opened in
January this year. Both offices have made a strong financial
contribution to Prudential BancBali since they opened.

Prudential BancBali, which is 91 percent owned by London-based
Prudential Plc, has sales offices in Jakarta, Bandung, Semarang,
Yogyakarta, Solo, Surabaya, Medan, Pekanbaru, Batam, Denpasar,
Samarinda, Makassar and Manado. (05)
