Provincial prosecutors installed

JAKARTA: Attorney General M.A. Rachman installed on Friday the chiefs and deputy chiefs of the prosecutor's offices in the country's four new provinces.

B.T.M. Pandjaitan and Zainal Abidin A.Y. were installed as the chief and deputy chief respectively of the Bangka Belitung Prosecutor's Office, while Madidjan and M. Nur Tahir were appointed to the two top posts in the Banten Prosecutor's Office.

The Gorontalo Prosecutor's Office is now led by Syafri Basir, with Titiek S. Mokodompit named his deputy. Mawardi will be in charge in North Maluku, with Joseph P. Salutondok as his deputy.

All of the officials have experience in leading prosecutor's offices in various regencies.

The induction ceremony took place in the Baharuddin Lopa Hall at the Attorney General's Office here. --JP
