Profit not losses
I would like to draw your attention to an article on page one of your newspaper on Aug. 7, 1995. It is about one of our clients, PT Semen Andalas Indonesia, and had the headline Andalas suffers losses of Rp.2.4 billion.
The article mentioned that SAI suffered a total loss of Rp 2.4 billion in the first seven months of this year. This is wrong. The Rp 2.4 billion loss was due to the closure of a kiln because of an oversupply of cement.
In fact, during this period SAI booked an overall profit of Rp 11.5 billion.
We would appreciate it very much if you could correct and publish this information, as this may convey quite a different message.
