Printing error

One would expect that holidays are intended for relaxation. Well, I too had the "pleasure" of going on vacation recently. But unfortunately it turned out to be a hectic and stressful affair. It's strange but true that no one needs a vacation so much as the person who has just had one. I am sure many readers who have just come back from their vacation would agree with me on this point.

On my return I happened to browse through the previous issues of The Jakarta Post for any interesting item to read and of course, I did find one -- but it was an unexpected printing error.

Page 3 of the July 4, 1997 edition was datelined "Friday, June 4, 1997!"

I believe this must be one of those freak errors that can sometimes occur. Modern publishing makes wide use of computers but isn't it strange that a computer date setting could go wrong on only one page of the day's issue?

Just in case only a few copies carried this inaccurate date, I would like to retain the July 4 newspaper as a souvenir. Who knows it may be worth some thousands of dollars at a future auction!
