Prime Minister's salary

In Bogor agreement dictates the need for clean government (The Jakarta Post, Nov. 22, 1994), Charles Himawan correctly stated that the prime minister of Singapore earns US$780,950 per year. But he wrongly reported the chief justice as earning only US$ 17,685 monthly.

This gave the impression that the prime minister earns much more than the chief justice. In fact, the chief justice earns US$ 31,200 per month, or US$ 682,300 per year. The prime minister earns only 14 percent more than the chief justice.
