President opens six plants

JAKARTA (JP): President Soeharto will inaugurate six industrial plants during his visit to Cilacap in Central Java on April 17.

The six plants are a flour processing plant in Cilacap, PT Semen Gresik's second Tuban cement plant in East Java, the fifth unit of Cibinong's cement plant in Cibinong, PT Indocement Tunggal Prakarsa tenth unit in Cirebon, and two chemical plants in West Java.

The flour processing plant cost Rp 100 billion (US$42.6 million). It will have a daily production capacity of 1,000 tons, and make between 220,000 and 260,000 tons of wheat a year. (bnt)
