Present crisis

Whether or not the currency board system is established, despite the distinctly lukewarm reception of this idea by world financial experts, including the IMF, one thing seems glaringly obvious if it is to have any positive impact on the present monetary crisis.

Clearly, it should be guided by the best available financial and economic brains in the country, and these are to be found among the currently successful Chinese entrepreneurs.

Had they not hitherto been excluded from holding government office, the country might not now be in its present extremely grave financial situation.
