Prayers followed by mob attack

BEKASI: A group of people who had just attended a religious
meeting led by noted Muslim preacher Kyai Haji Abdullah
Gymnastiar, better known as A'a Gym, mobbed three men on Thursday
who were found to be in possession of a large knife.

The three unidentified men were left unconscious on the
street, and were later picked up by the police.

The incident happened when Romi, 18, and other residents of
Harapan Jaya subdistrict were leaving the Sports Hall on Jl.
Guntur, where the meeting was held, and met the three men in
passing on the street.

One of Romi's group said something to the three, but one of
them pulled out a knife and threatened Romi and his friends. A
moment later, according to other residents, the three were seen
chasing Romi.

Other residents then became enraged and attacked the three
