Praise for Cuba article

I found the article by Brian Wilson, Cuba's paradox: Castro's beacon to the world, published in your newspaper dated Aug. 29, really good as its contents differs from most reports on this country.

Usually, they are largely critical and negative, but Wilson included a refreshingly open tone in his article and put things into the right perspective.

Who can compete with Cuba, which has been able to eliminate poverty, disease and illiteracy, despite the problems created by the "sustained hostility from an obsessive neighbor"?

I take my hat off to Wilson for this excellent and fair article, which exposes so many of the lies circling the globe about this country.
