PPP to form legal aid body

MEDAN, North Sumatra: The United Development Party (PPP) will
form legal aid institutes all over the country to report on
violations in the 1997 general election, Antara reported.

In a meeting attended by 119 participants from all the
provinces of Sumatra yesterday, PPP members agreed that the
electoral irregularities will be handled by filing lawsuits, and
by using a political approach. (ste)
