Power cuts a daily inconvenience

JAMBI, Jambi: A series of electrical power failures over the
past week have frustrated residents.

Romlah, a resident of Telanaipura, Jambi, said the power
failures had disrupted routine activities for between two to
three hours a day.

Officials at state electricity company PT PLN's Jambi Branch
could not be reached for comment on Monday.

A similar situation was faced by residents in June of this
year, when they were without power for three to four hours a day.
