Poultry development seminar at IPB

The recent outbreak of avian influenza or bird flu should not dampen people's interest in starting up a poultry business as the market is still promising, some experts say.

The Bogor Institute of Agriculture's School of Husbandry in cooperation with Poultry monthly magazine will hold a seminar on Nov. 16 and Nov. 17 on the Development of the poultry business.

Several experts will discuss such topics as genetic engineering, breeding and strategy of poultry business development in the seminar, to be held in the Poultry Development Building of the Ministry of Agriculture in Ciawi, West Java.
