Poso skeptical about Komnas HAM

POSO, Central Sulawesi: National Commission on Human Rights
(Komnas HAM) members again visited Poso regency to look into
alleged human right abuses during the 2000 sectarian riots, but
received a cold reception from local residents.

Achmad Ali and Hasto Atmodjo visited both Muslim and Christian
communities from Monday to Wednesday.

Ruwaida Untingo, a Muslim, questioned on Tuesday the rights
body's seriousness, as although its activists had visited the
regency three times since 2001, the case was still unresolved. --
