Poor Germany!

Reading The Jakarta Post on Oct. 3, 2000, containing a special section covering German Reunification Day, I must admit I was, to say the least, irritated.

From displaying the German flag upside down, the German Centre displaying a map of the old, divided Germany "FRG" and "GDR" to the Deutsche Schule Bandung Oktoberfest advert, spiked with all the damage somebody can do to the English language. In their defense, it's a German school, right?
