The Republic of Indonesia is 49 years old and has achieved a
lot in its course. The New Order government has achieved its goal
and has a lot to offer society. One of the important achievements
is in the political life of the nation. The government has
succeeded in reducing the number of the political parties to only
three.

In this matter there is something I feel concerned about. I am
particularly concerned about the other two political parties i.e.
United Development Party (PPP) and Indonesian Democratic Party
(PDI). Each of these parties are always bickering among party
members.

Those who lead the party should have great wisdom and avoid
frictions within the party. They should know how to respect each
other and appreciate each other's opinions.
