Policemen tested positive for drugs

PALEMBANG: Eleven policemen were under questioning after they tested positive for drugs, Antara reported on Friday.

Spokesman for the South Sumatera Police, Maj. Arum Priyono, said the policemen would go on trial as soon as the investigators wrap up their investigation and specify the type of drugs used.

Police also said that they are investigating whether the 11 men were also trafficking drugs. (byg)
