Policeman killed in Banda Aceh

BANDA ACEH, Aceh: The body of a policeman was discovered here early Wednesday morning.

The body of Sgt. Imron of the National Police's Mobile Brigade was found in a gutter along one of the city's main streets at about 12:30 a.m. The body had several gunshot wounds.

"Imron was processing his transfer papers to end his duty here in Banda Aceh. He was about to move from Lhokseumawe," Banda Aceh Police chief Lt. Col. Dedy Suryadi said on Wednesday.
