Police seek suspected killer

Police are searching for the alleged killer of a 30-year-old housewife, a resident of Taman Ratu Indah housing complex in Kebon Jeruk, West Jakarta.

The victim, identified as Wahyuni, was found dead in her home on Thursday.

She died as a result of a fatal stab wound in the stomach, 15 centimeters deep. A number of other stab wounds were discovered on her body.

Based on preliminary investigations, police said the alleged killer is a building construction worker who was employed by Wahyuni for minor renovations to her home.

Police said the suspected killer is still at large. (bsr)
