Police Reform Acceleration Commission Presents Work Results to President

The Commission for the Acceleration of Indonesian National Police (Polri) Reform met with President Prabowo Subianto and presented six recommendations from its work, which are planned to be established through presidential instructions (inpres) or presidential decisions (kepres) for phased implementation by Polri ranks. Chaired by Jimly Asshiddiqie, the commission includes members such as Ahmad Dofiri, Otto Hasibuan, Supratman Andi Agtas, Yusril Ihza Mahendra, Mahfud MD, Idham Aziz, General Pol Listyo Sigit Prabowo, and Minister for State Secretary Prasetyo Hadi. The meeting took place at Merdeka Palace in Jakarta on Tuesday, 5 May 2026, followed by a press conference where the commission outlined the recommendations.
