Police question BPN head
JAKARTA: City police questioned the head of the National Land Agency (BPN), Robert Lumampow, on Thursday as a suspect in a fraudulent land permit case.
Police spokesman Sr. Comr. Prasetyo told reporters that Robert was suspected of issuing a fake permit for 4.9 hectares of land located in the Pesanggrahan district in 2001 when he was still head of the agency's office in South Jakarta.
He said the same office had issued the permit in 1997 for a plantation managed by PT Tripatria Citra Sarana. -- JP
