Police continue murder probe

MEDAN, North Sumatra: Police are continuing their investigation into the murder of legislator Tengku Nashiruddin Daud with 10 men already questioned over the incident, provincial police chief Brig. Gen. Sutiyono said.

"All of them were questioned as witnesses," Sutiyono said on Thursday adding that police had not yet made any arrests.

However, he pledged to uncover the details but said more time was needed.

"We'll trace all available leads from Medan to Aceh," he added.

Nashirrudin died from a gunshot wound. His body was found at the Pancur Batu tourist resort near Medan, North Sumatra, last week. (39/edt)
