Police chief inducted

AMBON, Maluku: Deputy Chief of National Police Maj. Gen.
Koesparmono Irsan installed Col. Muchaer as the new chief of the
Maluku Police on Thursday to replace Col. Isnawa.

Muchaer was formerly deputy chief of the Irian Jaya provincial
police while Isnawa has been appointed deputy governor of the
Police Academy in Jakarta. (rms)
