Police and military comb Lido resort

It's not even the weekend, but the traffic to Lido resort is unusually heavy on Wednesday.
The joint team of Bogor Police and military started combing the area on Tuesday that borders Sukabumi, West Java, which is a strategic access point that could be used by terrorist group members led by Noordin Moh. Top to reach Jakarta.
The team stopped each vehicle that passed Jl. Raya Bogor - Sukabumi, which is only two kilometers from the residence of Mira Agustina, the wife of terrorist al-Farouq who escaped a high- security U.S. prison in Afghanistan earlier this month.
The only vehicles the team didn't check were public minivans.
The team also inspected rented houses and rooms, hotels, villas and entertainment centers.
Bogor Police chief Sr. Comr. Tjiptono said that the operation was also aimed at limiting the movement of the terrorist group.
"This area is in the vicinity of Mount Peti Jampang and Pelabuhan Ratu port, which was once used as a base to recruit and to train new members for the group," he revealed.
He further said that the group usually rented a house in a suburban area using pseudo names.
"We ask people in the area, especially religious leaders, to help us watch out for people who do not reveal where they work and who don't go out much but still have money to eat and to shop," Tjiptono said.
Bogor's Surya Kencana Military Command chief Col. Edhy Riyanto added that people should watch out for newcomers, encouraging them to file a report on their presence immediately with the police.
