Police Academy to hold funbike

JAKARTA (JP): Jakarta Police Academy will hold a cycling event
on June 18 to help promote traffic discipline and anti-drug
movement, a high-ranking officer said yesterday.

Police Academy Governor Maj. Gen. Momo Kelana said that the
program is designed to acquaint people with traffic rules.

The program, which will consist of bicycle rally, traffic quiz
and game, is also intended to implement the national discipline
movement, which was launched by President Soeharto on May 20, he
said.

Some performers will participate in the program, including
Hari Mukti, Desy Ratnasari, Titi Dwi Jayati, Bucek Depp, Memes,
Connie Constantia and Bambang Brothers Band, he said.

People intending to join the event are invited to register at
the Jakarta Police Academy on Jl. Tirtoyoso Raya No. 6, South
Jakarta. (29)
