Poland envoy makes trade trip to Manado

MANADO, North Sulawesi: Poland Ambassador to Indonesia Krzysztof Izumski began on Tuesday a two-day visit to the North Sulawesi capital of Manado to bolster trade with the province.

Izumski said North Sulawesi was chosen, as Poland spends US$300,000 on procuring copra and canned fish from the province.

He said Poland was interested in exporting food processing equipment to the province and in investing in the local transportation and communications sectors. -- JP
