Pobsi, A Mild announces partnership

JAKARTA: The Indonesian Billiard & Snooker Association (Pobsi) and A Mild, a product of cigarette-maker PT H.M. Sampoerna, announced a one-year partnership deal here on Thursday.

The partnership, whose value was kept confidential, has actually been in effect since March when the deal was signed. A series of tournaments, both domestic and international, has been planned throughout this year.

"We'd like to express our gratitude for A Mild's willingness to provide financial support for the organization of the billiard tournaments. This is good for the promotion of billiard nationwide," said Pobsi chairman Putera Astaman.

The A Mild Bali Open, which is scheduled for June 25 through June 28, is the only international event in the series of tournaments planned by Pobsi and A Mild this year. --JP
