PLN's prompt response

Imagine for a moment: busy day at the office; after work business meeting that goes on and on; traffic chaos traveling home; and arriving home tired and weary, dreaming of that first heavenly cup of something. Home at last, shock, horror, house in complete darkness, no maids, and the neighbors' homes sparkling with bright electric lamps.

The fuses were all working, and there was nothing wrong with the box. I rang PLN for help. Before I had time to light the candles a voice in the darkness called out "listrik" (electrician). Within 15 minutes the house sprang into light.

Where could this be? Some foreign place? No, this was Jakarta. PLN's prompt response to the situation amazed me and deserves my deep appreciation.
