PLN holds bridge tourney

JAKARTA (JP): To celebrate the 50th anniversary of national
electricity day on Oct. 22, the state electricity company (PLN)
will hold a Rp 14 million (US$6,238) foursome bridge open
tournament from Oct. 21 to Oct. 22.

Around 88 teams are expected to take part in the tournament,
which will charge Rp 60,000 and Rp 40,000 for adult and teenage
participants respectively.

The tournament, which starts at 2 p.m. on the third floor of
the PLN Building on Jl. Trunojoyo, Block M, South Jakarta, will
feature categories for participants above 55 years, women and
teenagers. (arf)
