Planet Hollywood opening at SCTV

Surya Citra Televisi (SCTV), a private television broadcasting company, will broadcast live the grand opening of the Planet Hollywood restaurant at 8 p.m. tonight.

Haryanto, the company's public relation manager, said yesterday that the restaurant's opening ceremony will be fashioned after a Hollywood-style Oscar Awards presentation.

Haryanto said that some of the world's most famous movie stars, including Sylvester Stallone, will be joined by local artists at the restaurant's opening.

Located on Jl. Gatot Subroto in Central Jakarta, the restaurant will become the 16th branch of Planet Hollywood International, a restaurant chain owned by Hollywood stars Stallone, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Bruce Willis and his wife, Demi Moore.

Planet Hollywood was first launched in New York three years ago. (mas)
