Photo exhibition on Aceh tsunami

BATAM: Some 302 post-tsunami photos taken by two local
journalists on assignment in Nanggroe Aceh Darussalam are being
put on display for four days in Batam starting Friday.

The exhibition, organized by Rumah Hitam Batam Community, is
to raise money that will be donated for education in Aceh through
schools that shall be built by the Batam administration in North
Aceh.

According to the community's coordinator Tarmizi, some 322
photos had been prepared for the exhibition, but limited funds
meant that only 302 of them could be exhibited.

The photos are on display at DC Mall, Nagoya in Batam, and are
priced between Rp 100,000 (US$10.50) and Rp 700,000 each. -- JP
