Phone failure in Cibubur
We have been unable to make telephone calls for the past week
though we can receive incoming calls.
When we reported this failure, we were advised that some 100
lines were down in our area and that the problem was being
attended to. More than one week has since lapsed.
Now, we sometimes manage to get a dial tone, but when we
finish dialing a number, nothing happens.
To add insult to injury, in the past few days, when we dial a
number, a recorded message is heard advising us that our number
has been temporarily disconnected because we failed to pay our
bill. In fact we did pay our last bill amounting to Rp 835,256.-
on Aug. 2, against receipt B 02582462. It was before the
telephone broke down.
We made another report to Telkom, but now our telephone is
still out of order.
We would like to know from Telkom when we can expect service
to be restored.
