Phone disruptions in Cipondoh

JAKARTA (JP): The road widening project on Jl. Raya Cipondoh and its surrounding areas in Tangerang, west of here, will disrupt telephone lines beginning with 551, 552, 553 and 554 prefixes, state-owned PT Telkom said.

A statement from the company made available Tuesday said the road widening project took place at the Cipondoh junction, Jl. Sudirman and the Alam Indah housing estate had forced Telkom to alter its cable network.

The company said the cable network change would be conducted gradually depending on the widening project.

Telkom, apologizing for the disruption, announced people are welcome to dial 117 to report any complaints. (icn)
