JAKARTA (JP): PT Harira Intisamara plans to issue an
integrated petroleum directory called Petropages, the first of
its kind on oil information, which can also be accessed on the
Internet.

"We'll issue Petropages in the form of a handbook next
January, but the information is available now on the Internet,"
PT Harira's president, Khairul Rizal, said yesterday.

He said that his company, which has branches in Singapore,
Sydney, Houston, Beijing and Oslo, is cooperating with state-
owned telecommunications firm PT Indosat for the Internet
application.

"Petropages consists of four sections: Petro Info, Petro
Support, Petro Guides and Petro Kits," said Khairul, who is also
the exploration manager of PT Risjad Salim Resources, a
subsidiary of the Salim Group.

He said that as a first step his company will issue about
10,000 copies, which are likely to be distributed free of charge
as the company expects its revenue to come from advertising. The
Internet service will be through paid subscription. (13)
