Petro Cup hoops league set to start

The 2nd Petro Cup, an annual national basketball league among
petroleum companies, is set to start on Sunday for a month-long
competition, a release said here on Saturday.

The tournament will be staged every Saturday and Sunday at the
Soemantri Brojonegoro Basketball Hall in South Jakarta from May
12 to June 22.

Thirteen teams are in the competition, including state oil
company Pertamina.

The participants are split into two groups. The top two teams
from each group will qualify for the semifinal matches on June 16
with the final on June 22. --JP
