Pertamina reports fuel hoarding

MEDAN, North Sumatra: State oil and gas company PT Pertamina's
Medan marketing office has recently discovered 10 places believed
to be factories where certain persons hoard and mix fuel with
certain chemical substances.

Juliadi, the office spokesman, said that his office had
reported the dubious practice to the police, and he hoped that
the police would arrest the persons and their bosses immediately.

The mixed fuel is sold to industries, which pay higher prices
than retail consumers. -- JP
