Pertamina finds oil and gas

JAKARTA (JP): State oil and gas company Pertamina said on
Tuesday it had found oil and gas reserves in its Rengan Condong
area, some 45 kilometers west of the provincial capital of Jambi.

The company said in a statement that the RCD-C oil well
produced 77.4 barrels of oil per day (bopd), 16 barrels of
condensate per day and 13.5 million cubic feet gas per day
(mmcfd).

Pertamina said that exploration drilling at the Rengan
Condong-C well began on May 14 and was completed within 84
working days.

It said that on July 1, the well reached a depth of 1,750
meters. (bkm)
