Pelita Air flies to Yogya

JAKARTA (JP): Private airline Pelita Air Service launched on Thursday a new flight service connecting Jakarta and Yogyakarta using Fokker 70 or Fokker 28 aircraft.

The company said it would fly four times a week to Yogyakarta on Mondays, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays.

Pelita, which made its debut as a scheduled airline in July, with flight licenses to 36 local destinations, currently serves return flights connecting Jakarta to Makassar and Sorong.

The company said so far it had maintained a good load factor of about 70 percent. (cst)
