Peggy does her bit with children
JAKARTA: Sunday is no holiday for actress and presenter Peggy Melati Sukma.
Just several hours after completing a live show for RCTI's Angin Malam (Night's Breeze) talk show early on Sunday, she could be found at Puri Indah Mal shopping center in West Jakarta.
She did not come to shop, but to watch a movie with 30 foster children from Yayasan Cinta Kita, a foundation run by actress Alya Rohali and where Peggy is a public relations representative.
"We're grateful for the invitation to watch the movie and the attention the mall has given to our children," Peggy said. The mall handed out educational material to the children after they had watched Disney's new animation movie Lilo & Stitch.
The event marked the mall's Get the Aloha Excitement with Lilo & Stitch promotion, which includes a children's coloring competition on July 6, and a Hawaiian dress competition on July 7. -- JP
