PDI-P office in poor condition

SORONG, Irian Jaya: The office of the Indonesian Democratic
Party of Struggle (PDI-P) in the regency of Sorong, Irian Jaya is
in very poor condition.

Some of the building's doors have come off, the window shields
are broken and the roof is extensively damaged.

An employee at the building, Nelson Sauyai, said that the
conditions had prevailed for years, and deserved attention from
the party's provincial and central boards.

"The building has never been taken care of," Nelson said.
