Passenger found dead in bus

PEKANBARU, Riau: Jony Lumban Tobing, a resident of Medan, North Sumatra, was found dead on Sunday in a PMTOH passenger bus on which he had traveled from Medan, heading toward Jakarta.

Witnesses said they found Jony dead at 08:00 a.m local time on Sunday when the bus stopped at a bus terminal in the city.

They said they suspected the victim had died before the bus arrived in the city because he apparently continued sleeping when other passengers had got out to eat at several previous terminals.

The local police carried Jony's body to the general hospital in the city to be handed over to his relatives. --Antara
