PASI to stage junior c'ships

JAKARTA (JP): The Indonesian Amateur Athletics Association
(PASI) will stage three-day national junior championships from
July 16 to July 18 at the Senayan Madya stadium.

The PASI secretary-general, Barmawi Chaidir, said on Saturday
that the championships were a way to recruit talented juniors for
join the long-term training program at the stadium.

Three hundred and fifty-one athletes will compete in the
championships, which will feature 43 events.

Chaidir hopes national records will be broken at the
