Parking in Citraland
From Kompas
On June 25, 1994, at about midday, I visited the Citraland shopping center in West Jakarta. When I got back to my car after I had finished shopping I was very surprised to find my car about seven meters away from the place where I parked it. To make matters worse, both rear tires were deflated.
I immediately reported the case to the security persons, Sup and Sut, only to have them blame me for parking the car in the wrong place. Actually, I had parked my car next to other cars that had been previously parked in that same location. The security guards did not do any thing about it at that time.
I deplore the attitude of the Citraland shopping center security personnel. They seem to have no concern about the security of the visitors' cars. Instead, they acted as if they were happy with what had happened to my car. I had to walk about the premises to find a service man to help replace the deflated tires. How can the security persons escape responsibility for maintaining the security and the convenience of the Citraland customers?
