As a motorist I park my car in Sartika Plaza, on Jalan Otto
Iskandardinata, regularly with a Rp 300 parking fee which I pay
when I leave. But lately the parking attendants have demanded Rp
500 irrespective of the length of parking time.

When I questioned the increase of fees, the parking attendants
said that the area has recently been turned into an official
parking lot.

But when I checked with the Bogor officials I found out that
the fee should be Rp 300 for the first two hours. The Rp 500 fee
is applicable only for parking buildings.

Hence there has been a violation of the regulation and I bet
that the overcharge has never reached the Bogor administration.

I would like to draw the attention of the Bogor administration
to pay heed to this matter and ensure that its regulations work.
