Panin Bank's profit up

JAKARTA (JP): Panin Bank announced yesterday that its pre-tax
profits increased 29.5 percent to Rp 77.1 billion (US$33.4
million) last year.

The bank's president, Rostian Sjamsudin, was quoted by Antara
as saying that the bank's total assets as of the end of 1995
reached Rp 4.21 trillion, including equity of Rp 514 billion.

Rostian said that the bank's lending level was recorded at Rp
2.41 trillion. (pwn)
