Outline of PNI Marhaenisme's platform:

During 32 years of the New Order's rule all methods were undertaken to conduct de-Sukarnoisasi (a dismantling of all things related to Sukarno), which led to fertile soil for the growth of neo-capitalism. Our nation lost its dignity and has been easily dictated to by foreign countries. Our earlier self reliant nation became dependent and indebted to foreign nations. A state which should have protected its citizens turned out to be an oppressor, violating the law and human rights, eventually leading to a multi-dimensional crisis.

With this background we, the Marhaen, came to unite in this party with the following mission which includes:

o To strive for freedom of religion and the safe practice of beliefs, without disturbance from any party; o To organize and provide political education for all; o To empower the people to realize a government that is clean and a society that is democratic without violence nor discrimination; o To strive for the annulment of all laws and rules which violate the people's consciousness, human rights and Indonesian culture; o To struggle along with the people in eradicating collusion, corruption and nepotism and demand that all perpetrators of economic and political crimes, and crimes against humanity, be punished according to the law; o To strengthen the people's economic rights and access to national economic resources; o To strive for land reform, and for land distribution to farmers without land; o To strive for the improved welfare of soldiers, civil servants and educators. o To strive for the improved education, protection and welfare of workers, peasants and fishermen and their families.
