Orphans to celebrate Easter at Melia
YOGYAKARTA: The five star Melia Purosani hotel will invite orphans from local Christian orphanages to celebrate Easter at its Parangsari Poolside Garden on March 27.
Public relations manager Atik Damarjati said the hotel had prepared several fun activities, including egg decorating and Easter egg and rabbit hunts.
Other children were also welcome to share their Easter with the orphans, she said, as part of the hotel's Easter Sunday brunch program held on the same day from noon to 3 p.m.
"We held the same celebration last year. It was very touching seeing how children of wealthy families enjoyed playing with children from the orphanages," Atik said. Guests joining the Easter Sunday brunch would be given a late checkout of 4 p.m., she said. -- JP
