Ophthalmologist not optometrist

I refer to the article on contact lens in the Aug. 22, 1999 edition of The Jakarta Post. It is a good article and I'm proud that my father was quoted in the article.

But there are some mistakes that I would like to correct. My father is an ophthalmologist, or eye surgeon, at Jakarta Eye Center, not an optometrist. And his name is Dr. Vidyapati Mangunkusumo. The right way to refer him is Dr. Mangunkusumo not Dr. Pati as it is only part of his first name. Actually Mr. Jules Bell could have easily found out his name if only he had bothered to look at the doctors list written in the lobby or out front of the hospital.
