Online porn VCD shopping busted

JAKARTA: Jakarta Police Cyber Crime Unit detectives arrested a suspect who is allegedly behind the sale of porn video compact discs and pirated software through the Internet.

The suspect, Ajie Wibowo who has many aliases, like Asep Awaludin and Ismail Husein, was apprehended in Bandung, West Java.

According to the unit head Sr. Comr. Agung Sabar Santoso, Ajie, who is still registered as a student of a state university in Bandung, ran the online site: http://www.hiperseks.com.

Agung said the suspect told police investigators that he had sold 10,000 porn VCDs and pirated software through the net and garnered a net profit of Rp 100 million. JP.
